Clinic Volunteers

Our clinic volunteers are extremely important to the success of the Hill Country Animal League organization. Without them, important tasks could fall by the wayside.

Volunteers through High School Internships work with us through the school year as well as regular weekly volunteers that come in to assist front office needs. During the summer we do have several young volunteers that add to our group of volunteers. A majority of our volunteers are considering veterinary medicine educational goals in their near futures and this gives them an opportunity to see firsthand what it is like to work in a medical atmosphere.

Rachel Castaneda was our volunteer of the year (2012) this past August. She has been a dedicated volunteer for our organization for over two years and has earned an internship opportunity through the 4H Comal ISD to Texas A & M program. Congratulations, Rachel for a job well done!

Thrift Store Volunteers

Our thrift store volunteers are the glue that helps seal the success of our thrift store. They are dedicated to keeping the shelves and racks full of donated treasures while serving with a smile. Our volunteers develop knowledge of the retail industry and build relationships with our customers. It’s a win/win for everyone.
