During the summer of 2008 at the age of 12, I began volunteering at the Hill Country Animal League (HCAL). It didn’t take long to realize that HCAL is a special clinic full of passionate and caring people. By their devotion to reduction of the unwanted dog and cat population through spay and neuter, they have helped reduce the number of stray and orphan animals.

By volunteering at HCAL every summer, I have been taught responsibility and dedication. Through the hands on learning I received, I absorbed everything I could about animal care and responsibility as a pet owner. The ability to help and serve at HCAL has inspired me to devote my life to the betterment of the Hill Country animal community as well! So spay and neuter your pets!
