In this month of Thanksgiving, the leadership and staff of Hill Country Animal League says “Thank You!” to our 45+ dedicated volunteers. These amazing folks support both our clinic and thrift store.  At the thrift store, we could not sort, price and shelve merchandise at the rate we do without the hard work of volunteers. Our thrift store generates about 2/3 of our annual budget and is absolutely crucial to our spay/neuter and preventive care mission.

Volunteers at the spay/neuter clinic keep us stocked up on medical supplies, keep the clinic clean, and help us care for about 50 animals per day who come for surgery. This year, volunteers scanned thousands of archived documents in our effort to go paperless. This project improved our record keeping processes and freed up valuable space at our storage unit. Last, but not least, our volunteer Board of Directors helps us plan future projects and strategies and is integral to our fundraising efforts. We could not get all this work done without the tireless efforts of our volunteers. Today, we celebrate you all and say another big “THANK YOU!”
