Support HCAL & Help Pets Thrive in the Hill Country!
We are thrilled to share that Hill Country Animal League (HCAL) will once again take part in The Big Give—South Central Texas’ largest online giving event! This year, the 24-hour giving marathon runs from 6 PM on Wednesday, September 17 through 6 PM on Thursday, September 18.
What is The Big Give?
It’s a community-wide movement that fuels generous giving, online collaboration, and widespread support for nonprofits across our region. Since 2014, more than $50 million has been raised for local causes, making The Big Give one of the most impactful giving days in the area.
How Can You Support HCAL During The Big Give?
- Mark your calendar!
Donations begin early on September 10, so you can give ahead of the crowd, or save your gift for the big day to be part of the match and prize push. - Every gift counts…start with just $10!
All donations are secure, tax-deductible, and processed via the Bonterra platform. Even small gifts can make a giant difference, and could qualify for matching prizes to make an even bigger impact. - Watch for donor matches and prize opportunities!
Generous sponsors power matching pools during The Big Give, meaning your donation could stretch even further. Plus: nonprofits can qualify for fun, competitive prizes during the event.
Why Your Support Matters
Every dollar raised through The Big Give will directly support HCAL’s core services:
- Affordable spay/neuter surgeries
- Pet wellness clinics and preventative care
- Community education on responsible pet ownership
In short, your generosity empowers us to keep pets healthy, reduce overpopulation, and provide life-changing services to pets and families across the Hill Country.
