Rabies Vaccine Clinic with Boerne Animal Care Services

Boerne Animal Care Services is hosting a Rabies Vaccination and Pet Licensing Clinic on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. ACS is excited to offer this one-day event to help dog and cat owners vaccinate and license their pets with the City of Boerne as required by ordinance.

1. Cost: $20 per vaccine
2. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
3. Registration ends May 2nd.

Residents can sign up on the ACS pet licensing portal. If you don’t already have an account, you will need to create one.

1. Once you are logged in, be sure your pet is added to your account.
2. Once your pet is added, you will see the Rabies Clinic option under Available Licenses.
3. Add the Rabies Clinic option to your cart and complete the payment to secure your spot.

After you register, staff from Boerne ACS will contact you by phone to schedule your timeslot.

Registration is required for this event. No day-of registration will be possible.

Staff will prepare a pet license packet based on the information you provide through registration.

On the day of the event, you will be presented the pet license packet and meet with the veterinarian. The rabies vaccines will be administered by a veterinarian from the Hill Country Animal League.

The vaccine and the pet license are both valid for one year.

1. All dogs must be on a leash.
2. Cats must be crated or otherwise contained. No loose cats will be allowed.

This event is also open to non-city residents. Pets of non-residents will receive only the vaccine and not the City of Boerne pet license.
