Meet Dobby, A Charming Pet Rescue

As part of an exciting new program and partnership with Charming Pet Rescue, Dobby was brought in as a Silver Paws Adoptee for a brand new life with a loving senior family. Prior to being rescued, Dobby’s health was in terrible condition. He was emaciated, dehydrated, had rotten teeth and was totally shut down. While he is only approximately eight years old, he looked to be 20.  Luckily for Dobby, a caring senior stepped up to foster him with hopes that a loving home, at the very least, would give him a few days or weeks to gain strength before making any final and dire decisions about Dobby’s life.

With help through the Silver Paws & Senior Heart Program, Dobby received a full health checkup, complete with testing, vaccines, and dental work. And after six weeks, this little guy was ready to be neutered as a healthy, strong, and active eight year old. Dobby has done an amazing turn around and is now living his best life after being adopted through the Silver Paws & Senior Heart Program.

At Hill Country Animal League, we believe that all dogs should be spayed or neutered to live long and healthy lives.
