Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week

Celebrate National Animal Care & Control Appreciation Week

Join us during the week of April 9th as we celebrate National Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week, which is an annual week-long initiative aimed at bringing awareness of the valuable work provided by the animal control officers and animal service staff across the nation.  Like any other law enforcement agency, these community protectors risk their lives and dedicate countless hours for the safety of the people and animals within our communities.

At Hill Country Animal League, we’re happy to celebrate, support, and partner with Kendall County Animal Control Division, whose sole mission is to provide a safe, humane environment, and quality care for every animal needing care or shelter.

Inspired by the National Animal Care and Control Association, this important week-long initiative is not only intended to recognize the tireless contributions of control officers and staff, the week-long initiative also aims to celebrate the historical and future efforts to ensure the care and professional welfare of all animals.
