HCAL Provide Free Pet Care for Seniors with Help from Kronkosky Place
We’re excited to partner with Kronkosky Place, a local nonprofit organization servicing older adults in Kendall County, and a 2022 recipient of a $15 thousand grant provided by PetSmart Charities in partnership with Meals on Wheels of America in support of a $3 million healthy living initiative for seniors and their pets.
As the sole beneficiary of the Kronkosky Place grant, we are well positioned to support the overall funding initiative to improve access to pet care for seniors, including preventive veterinary care such as in-home basic exams, vaccinations, flea-tick preventatives, and bloodwork, as well as trips for full in-clinic services.
