Santa Paws Invite: Pick a Gift. Help a Pet.
Introducing the Santa Paws Wishlist from Hill Country Animal League
This holiday season, give a gift that truly matters; not just to someone you love, but to a pet in need!
The Santa Paws Wishlist is Hill Country Animal League’s first-ever holiday gift list where each “gift” directly supports local animals. From spay and neuter surgeries to vaccinations, wellness visits, and comfort care, these are real services for real pets right here in our community.
New This Year: Wishlist Gift Tags at the Thrift Store!
As part of this holiday campaign, we’re inviting shoppers to stop by our Hill Country Animal League Thrift Store, where several Christmas trees are decorated with Santa Paws Wishlist tags. Each tag represents a donation opportunity—from a $10 comfort care like nail trimming and anal glands to sponsoring a full day of surgeries for $250.
Pick a tag. Make a donation. Help a pet.
It’s that simple, and it’s a powerful way to give back while you shop!
Whether you’re a regular thrifter or just stopping in for the holiday deals, you can grab a tag from the tree, donate at the register, and know that your gift is going straight to a local pet who needs care.
What’s on the Wishlist?
Each tag (and online gift option) helps provide:
• Spay/Neuter Surgeries – Reducing overpopulation and pet homelessness.
• Vaccinations – Protecting pets from preventable illnesses.
• Wellness Exams – Catching health issues before they escalate.
• Comfort Items – Warm blankets, gentle carriers, and recovery support.
Make It a Tradition
• Shop for gifts AND give one
• Pick a tag as a meaningful gift for someone else
• Start a new tradition with your family or coworkers
And don’t forget: You can also give online if you can’t make it in-store. Monetary donations are always welcomed, and appreciated, whether or not you shop.
Every Gift Stays Local
When you support Hill Country Animal League, you’re helping pets in Boerne and the surrounding Hill Country region get the care they need. 100% of your donation goes to services that save lives and create brighter futures. Start giving today. Make a difference before the year ends.
